Rabbi Menachem Levine, President
Rabbi Menachem Levine has been the Rav of Congregation Am Echad since 2007. In his position as a community leader, he has been involved in strengthening the Jewish infrastructure of San Jose. He gives numerous weekly classes in the shul and has given invocations for the San Jose City Council multiple times. Rabbi Levine has been invited to speak about the Jewish viewpoint of current events at Apple, Intel, and Google, as well as at local and international non-profit organizations. In addition to his rabbinical ordination, Rabbi Levine has a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, is a barred attorney, and has served as a board member of several non-profit organizations and foundations. As the founding president of the board of Yeshiva Preschool of Silicon Valley, Rabbi Levine is excited to be part of a new track of education for the San Jose Jewish community, one that will open a door for knowledgeable Jewish living for every student and family.

Kevin Fagan, Treasurer
Kevin Fagan was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. He received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He worked as a summer intern for Intel in 1996 and 1997 then then moved to the Bay Area in 1998 to work for Intel full-time as a Software Engineer. Kevin is a current board member of Congregation Am Echad, serving as Ritual Chair / Gabbai. He also served the Congregation Am Echad board in several other positions, including treasurer. Kevin contributes to Yeshiva Preschool with his experience, organizational skills and passion for providing Jewish education to Jewish children.
Dina Lagun grew up in Moscow, Russia where she obtained her degree in Architecture in 2007. Since then she has specialized primarily in reconstruction of historical buildings and design of residential and educational facilities. Upon moving to the US in 2009, she began working as a freelance architect. At the same time she has been devoting most of her time to home-educating her two children. While living in Atlanta, Georgia, Dina taught a design and architecture class at the local home-school co-op and organized Jewish holiday celebrations for young children in the local Jewish community for Russian speakers. Implementing her passion for Art and Education, Dina volunteers in nursing homes and for various art projects for children and adults. She relocated to San Jose in 2014, when her husband became a research scientist at one of the hi-tech companies in the area.
